OMG! I just saw the season 2 fenale of Torchwood and I can't believe that Tosh and Owen died? Does anyone know if they are dead for good! This is freaking sad! I can't believe it. Tosh along with Ianto are my two favorite characters!

I love the minds set that allows you to ask the Question " are they dead for good?" LOL It's a good show that a question like that can be relevant. I get the feeling that Owen will show up again at some point as we didn't see him fully die. I would love if Tosh was brought back but I don't think they will as it would mock the work Naoko put into death scene. As these are just my guesses I think we are just going to have to wait and see.
RIP Tosh, you will be missed -

They are bringing Rose back. She's going to be in a couple episodes in season 4. I don't think that this would be considered a spoiler (given that it's listed on her IMDB profile), so I will say that she has already appeared in the season premier, althoughit was kind ofambiguous.
Also, the Wikipedia article on the Torchwood season finale says:
"This episode marks the last episode starring Naoko Mori as Toshiko Sato and Burn Gorman as Owen Harper. In the Torchwood: De-Classified that covers this episode, Burn Gorman who plays Owen Harper jokingly remarks that Owen either is truly dead or will transform into the "king of the Weevils"." -

They didn't say that they wouldn't bring Rose back, they said that they wouldn't give her a spin off show as that would take away from the heartbreaking goodbye and it would be one spin off too many as they already have two Doctor Who spin offs now and a quiz show.

Actually I think Ianto was the least used. But I highly doubt they gave her a choice about leaving. It make me really sad. I thought she was a great character. I used to really dislike Owen, but in the last season they have made him a more sympathetic character, and then they go and kill him. The only good thing is that he did not know that Tosh was going to die.

Maybe the Doctor can take a little trip to the past in the TARDISI love it when they cross over shows! I could take or leave Owen, but I really liked Toshiko. She will be missed. (If it was an American show, I'd assume that they both asked for more money. They don't do that in the UK, do they?)

Hi Naoko said at the Comic-Con round table that she absolutely didn't choose to leave. That's been refuted, so we're safe to assume that one! There have been, however, a number of recent suggestions that Naoko may not have left the cast at all. I don't want to get anyone's hopes up, because I haven't got insider knowledge on this one, but it seems a possibility judging from their behaviour at Comic-Con, and the fact that Naoko doesn't seem to be linked to any other projects right now. I'm cautiously hopeful.
