That's not true. Many conservatives in Hollywood face repeated discrimination. The malice in your responses is evidence of this.

You don't have any proof of this.

No, I've not experienced it for myself, but here is what others say:

        Jim Caviezel
Caviezel is a devout Catholic and conservative who claims he's been "blacklisted" after portraying Jesus in Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ.

None of your links show proof either as they are all personal opinions from individuals not a consortium or large group of self-styled "Conservatives". As for Jim Caviezel, he has done movies AFTER PotC and he has a CBS (Lib Network supposedly) show debuting this fall season, so that story holds no water.
It's like anyone can argue the converse and say that Liberals are black listed from Hollywood because when's the last time flagrantly liberal actors like Mike Farrell, Ed Begley Jr., Jeanine Garofalo, or Rosie O'Donnell have been getting big Hollywood movie parts? Hmmm?
Sean Penn may be openly Liberal, but Jon Voigt, Tom Selleck, Gary Sinise, Patricia Heaton, and Robert Duvall (to name a few) are just as openly Conservative and they're on TV and in film quite a lot lately.
I think you're just trying to use your political persuasion as a crutch rather than defending your positions. You also like to accuse others of "generalizing" but your entire position on Conservatives in Hollywood is based on an over-generalized assumption itself. If you asked me it's more likely the quality of the writing and/or acting that bars people OF ANY POLITICAL/RELIGIOUS PERSUASION from getting work, and producers are looking to see which makes more money at the box office.

She sounds like someone with no education, who naturally fell into a lot of stupid behavior (16 abortions, sexual absue of her daughter, 9 marriages) and then required a make-believe deity to rescue her from her own feebleness. Sweetie you're a mess.
Those of us who didn't screw up our lives have no need to manufacture a magical sky daddy to guide us.

Jannifer O'Neill had admitted to having at least one abortion. She is alive today, because she had a CLEAN abortioni.e. medical care. It just amazes me how women who themselves have benefitted from proper medical care for THEIR abortions, can turn around and try to make it illegal for OTHER women. I was a very naive 17-year old Catholic when I went on my first job, as a medical office assistant to a Catholic gynecologist, who was also, Catholic and hispanic. She had a huge patient list. Her (mostly lower income and lower-educated, socio-economic class) patients had scarred cervixes and horrible complications from their own efforts to control their rate of reproduction. They mostly had a number of children and Catholic husbands who, of course, did not believe in birth control. The one non-hispanic, educated "caucasian" patient this physician had, had survived her own abortion (this is in 1967 before abortion was legalized) because she had the money, family and resources to fly to SWEDEN to have a "legal" abortion there. Before you write adulatory remarks about a woman who consistently lies about her age, her number of abortions (she got around, folks) and probably everything else, including who provided the funding for her cosmetics line (she started it about the same time she began her latest incarnation as a "pro life" spokesperson) you should do a little research. Jennifer O'Neill, sincere right to lifer? I don't think so. She knew people and had money to get clean abortions, which is why she is alive today to be a Quisling(look it up) for the pro-life, Christian right.

Fundamentalist Christians tend to have a VERY double standard. That's why it's so publicly embarrasing (and inevitable) when they're invariably caught "sinning". They set the bar so high it's impossible to reach.

"Look it up?" Wow. How presumptuous. Wish we could all be smart like you.
