          I don't like Ratner very much. He's a major reason I avoid modern films with a few exceptions. From a pure filmmaking side of things his films are generally well made though lack any imagination and any Hollywood filmmaker could get the same results on the budget he has.
          However he's had success regardless of quality of the film. In many ways he is the ideal Hollywood filmmaker since most Hollywood films aim at a brain dead audience.

              No one cares about what his company co-financed. He is a craptastic director which is probably why he's doing more producing these days.
