My city has both extremes, and I'll pick cold over hot any day. Nothing worse to me than opening the front door and feeling as if you've stepped into an oven. At least with cold weather you can dress for it.

Right? Same here. In my neck of the woods, as well, we have very cold, snowy and windy winters and temps often drop below freezing, and in the summers, we can hover around 100F (38C). There are colder places and warmer places, but we can swing between extremes.
I love the cold for the reasons you mentioned. You can always wear more clothes, layer up, get warm in bed. When it's hot, it feels like there's no escape.

It's the high humidity that gets to me. I've been to Florida in early September and never again! It was unbearable. I don't know how people can stand it.
When all is said and done though, I do like having all four seasons…just wish they weren't so extreme.

I hear ya! I have been to Florida three times, at different seasons, and no matter what, that heat and humidity was exhausting. I don't ever want to go back!

That’s a hard call. It can go up to the 100’s here in the summer, and single digits in the winter. Wish it could be spring and fall all year long. But I guess at least with the hot weather you could be outside early and late in the day, plus cool off in the ocean or a lake or a pool. Plus less clothing to be bothered with.
If you can’t say something nice, say something clever but devastating.

Here in the upper Midwest, I'd say we get both. Slightly heavier on the cold months.
There are bad conditions in some of those cold states, and some truly bad ones in those states where it's hot.
I'll stay where I am. It isn't perfect, but what is? At least I'm use to dealing with it.
You asked a pretty question; I've given you the ugly answer.

Even though the extremes in both sides could be char, I think I’d miss experiencing all 4 seasons.

It depends how hot and cold. Anything over 90 F is too hot year round and anything below 65 F is cold for me.

You're pretty tolerant if you can handle the 90s. My comfort range is 20-65.

Easily the latter. When I was in prison, I always went outside in the snow and sub-zero weather wearing only my T-shirt and no jacket. Whenever anyone said anything to me about it, I always told them that "I'm a real gangster. Real gangsters don't need jackets."
At Terre Haute FCI, I kept my windows open with no heat on during winter. I've always been quite fond of the cold, which is pretty ironic considering that I'm from Florida.
