I think that could be alfabetically. At least all oder names appeared to ordered that way, with exception of Billy Crudup who is listed after "and".
But it's definitely nice that most verions of the trailer on youtube have used a screenshot of Elle for the thumbnail.

I also saw in the trailer, it mentioned the director also directed 'Beginners'. I'm not a fan of that film but it was very praised and an actor even earned a Academy Award! Let's hope this turns out ok and not like About Ray

I am sure that this also has a story, but so far they haven't given us much information about that. We only have character descriptions so far, which in Elle's case is a "savvy and provocative teenage neighbor". Of course they will have to tell us more in the final trailer.
Either way, it's sure going to get some awards buzz.
Yes, all signs point to that! But let's wait for the premiere on October 8.

This new trailer does give a better idea of the story. It looks like there will be a good mix of comedy and drama as well as a coming of age aspect to the film.
