Humans can't survive with body fat that low, and it would look gross. Body fat isn't a bad thing, when it is at the appropriate levels. The average hollywood actress is TOO THIN. All humans are SUPPOSED to have fat on their bodies, to some degree, and this mindset being promoted that any amount of fat is bad is harmful to all the young girls who end up starving themselves to try to rid themselves of what they are naturally supposed to have. You can have too much fat, but the people in hollywood are not the proper ones to ask how much is too much. Ask a doctor. Also, females are supposed to have more body fat than males. If a female has the same body fat percentage as a healthy male, then she has too little body fat. The American Council on Fitness says 21-24% body fat for a female is FIT. Going lower than 21% increases the risk of certain diseases. Yes, I know you were making a joke, but you were also helping promote an unhealthy body image for women and girls, so I felt the need to respond.

Well, not really wimp out, but showing poontang is the big taboo of actresses, if they go that far they are often seen as not a serious actress, or cannot ever be seen that way again (or so the logic goes). Thats why if you ever see a big hollywood celeb get nude its usually only breasts/butt but never beaver
There are a few, FEW cases where bigtime celebs showed their muff and still got more popular later like Sharon Stones infamous leg cross in Basic Instinct but usually after they go full nude, like Elizabeth Berkley showing us all her glory in Showgirls, then their careers fade after that. Well she made a bit of a recovery since then but overall she became "seen it all" material and no one really wants to put her in a top level role. Now you can be certain Betsy will only be seen in B movies or small roles in A movies and most likely they will be using her for the girl who is willing to do nude scenes. -

I don't think Elizabeth Berkley is the best comparison. She wasn't that big of a star before she did that, so it's not like her career faded into oblivion.

I was so impressed that the film-makers chose someone with natural breasts, that I had to come here and say the same about the actress, hehe! Im so SICK of silicone fakethingies, lol, that it was nice to see natural breasts where years ago they would have put balloons on there. And yes, I think Betsy is a beautiful woman!

Don't forget about Heather Graham, who went full frontal in Boogie Nights and went on to have a fairly significant career. Honestly, I think it has more to do with the actress's relative attractiveness and ability than whether they've appeared naked.

Boogie Nights was well-received by critics(whatever that's worth).
But My Bloody Valentine 3D?
Well.God bless them they tried.
I expect Ms. Rue's career trajectory to pretty much follow the same direction of many other C-movie actresses who bare it all for some tacky,gory sex and death scene.think the debutantes in Species 2. -

I know guys don't want to hear this sad truth, but this is not usually because she's comfy with herself. It usully stems from gross insecurity and believeing that is the best way to gain attention.
A women truly comfy with herself won't let every skeevy perv on the planet know what her bits look like because she values herself too much.
