Really want to see Patton, Last King of Scotland, and finish Ghandi (tragically didn't finish the film).
I can't think of a singular favourite biographical film of all time, so I'll list the ones who draw as the best.
In no order whatsoever,
Glory
Born on the Fourth of July
Goodfellas
The Untouchables -

I wouldn't call this my "favorite of all time" but I did like the Paul and Linda McCartney movie with Elizabeth Mitchell as Linda.
Also, and this surprised me, Brad Garrett did a good job as Jackie Gleason in that movie. I liked that one as well.
Another one that I just thought of that was pretty good was The Three Stooges and I don't even know who played who but I was pretty impressed with it. I am not even a fan of the three stooges but I like bios.

Two movies came out, that profiled two legendary music masters. Busey portrayed
Charles "Buddy" Holley, the lead singer of the Crickets;Valens was also legendary and died in the same crash as Holly. Lou Diamond Philips brought to life that artist who was cut down in the "dawn" of his career.I am torn and think both films were awesome! -
