Watch the 1980 Film "Gloria " with Gena Rowlands. It's a great film. And Miss Rowlands performance is just utter perfection. Brilliant acting.
And I defy anyone to be able to have a dry eye at the ending of that Film. Which I won't spoil. I have seen it many many times. And I own the film as well. Just a classic.
The only poster who had his account banned 4 times without ever breaking any rules each of those times. -

I've seen it. For your sake, I truly wish I could say it made an impression on me but it didn't strike me at all as unusual or extraordinary.
Perhaps it would do so if I watched it all these years later now that I'm an adult. I'm ready to believe there's something in it I missed the first time around, if you are this enthused about it.
On the other hand I almost always loathe movies featuring little kids in trouble. Like, orphan kids annoy the heck outta me.
I agree that Gena is quite good actress (still alive? I dunno). But she's not a star I've personally ever thought all that much about.
