Well I finished now and I loved it. It's exactly the kind of movie I like with Satanic books and mysteries and such and also found footage as a bonus. I thought the final scene was just AWESOME, SON!
I put it on my foreign movie list here:
    http://www.imdb.com/list/ls072494361/
    So thanks again my dear
    GOTT
! What was the Israel movie you saw? Maybe I want to look at that as well.

      it is called Jeruzalem.
sort of an end of the world thing, not bad, it is certainly a good premise.
i feel ashamed for most jewish-type films ive watched recently, like this one and also those jewfro comedies starring rogen, james franco, joey gordon-levitt etc etc etc. i know drugs are considered a big thing specially in cold weathered countries. but this whole "being slutty and doing drugs all the time are the coolest/most innovative things ever" is not the regular atitude i witnessed in north america. these guys make those films as if every pretty girl jewish or gentile in north america craves for sleeping with 30 guys at one time while their bfs are left home, and still find the energy to have dope for breakfast the next day.
plus the producers of this one are so afraid of being called anti-muslim that they wrote in some pure-hearted arab characters that seem pretty unrealistic, while also made all israeli soldier characters complete douchebags.

        Gottfried
thank you for such a substantive and detailed report. I did in fact try to watch
        Jeruzalem
some time ago but I gave up on it early in the film. Nothing that was going on convinced me of anything, and the acting and screenplay seemed sophomoric at best. I just looked at the IMDB page and saw that it's
        The PAZ Brothers
who made this film? I suggest that the notorious Mexican horror team of
        Los hermanos Escalator
are superior, and they don't even exist.
I wonder if you have seen the Israeli film
        Big Bad Wolves (2013)
, which I included as number 6 on my best foreign horror list, even though it's not really a horror- more of a drama/thriller:
        http://www.imdb.com/list/ls072494361/
I found this to be top shelf brah, top shelf. It boasts a gripping and violent story, convincing acting, and awesome brutality. It's also clever. Have you seen it? I recommend it highly,
        9/10
        for me.

Great success! I got a high resolution copy and the English subs synch up perfectly. I just road tested the opening sequence. It even looks to be a found footage I'm so excited to see this one tonight after work. Mexican horror and found footage.. ARRIBA!

                                        this sounds interesting, thanks!
Your description reminds me of an old story by Robert Arthur, called "Footsteps Invisible." I thought it might have been one of the inspirations for It Follows that is probably not true, but it is sort of similar a mysterious creature, mercilessly stalking its human prey. Only its prey can see it, other can only hear its footsteps. It got started as some kind of ancient Egyptian curse there isn't too much detail given, but the story is still really creepy.
