Argh, I totally would but that is some fúcking last minute heads-up!
I didn't think you'd be down with Beach House or Phantogram. They're a little."light in the loafers." Lololol

Okay, this whole Flag/Black Flag thing is confusing. So does Flag only play songs from when Keith Morris was in Black Flag, or do they play stuff from their entire career? I've never even heard Black Flag from the Morris days. I've listened to all their full lengths since you recommended them. In My Head is great, and Slip It In and Loose Nut are pretty good. I'm not too crazy about the rest, but they're alright.
I saw Keith Morris' new band, Off!, twice. Once at a festival, and once opening for Bad Religion. He kind of annoyed me with all his political talk between songs. Just play the beep songs, dude.

Whew, OK. I could've made this a very long-winded post, but I will refrain. If crypt_of_Lovecraft sees this, he may be able to go more into specifics (he's the ultimate Black Flag fan.)
Keith Morris was the first singer. From what I've seen of him in Flag, he sings mostly the older material ('78-'81 - it appears some of the material in those years are "up for grabs" since many Black Flag singers sang their versions of these songs, as heard on
Everything Went Black
), but also a bit of
My War.
You should at least check out "Nervous Breakdown" from the
Nervous Breakdown
EP. It's one of their best songs.
I think Black Flag without Ginn is kinda weird since it was definitely his band, but since Flag is made up of all ex-members, it makes it sort of OK.

I'm seeing Hinds right now. They're probably the best thing playing at the moment, but I'm not that into them, which is why I'm on my phone right now. Their accents are cute though. Thee Oh Sees are playing next. I saw them once before, having not heard them, and they were phenomenal live. I listened to a couple albums since and was not into them at all. It was like a completely different band. I'm sure they'll still rock it live though.

Wow what a great line up! Beach House is currently my second favorite band working right now. They're music is so beautiful, it's almost transcendent!
I also really love Phantogram, STRFKR and Deerhunter. I actually saw STRFKR live earlier this year and it was one of the most fun shows I've ever attended.
