Careful this gay guy acts like he's the LGBTQ representative. Actually he's just another Looney Tune up in here. But you are so sweet to be graciously letting him prat on about his life.

Thanks for voting and sharing your list. I see you are a fan of RWF. Awesome! He's one of my very favorite directors.
I also love "Scorpio Rising". It was between that "Un Chant d'Amour" for my number ten slot.

i have not seen Un Chant d'amour, but i'm also a fan of Kenneth Anger. Lucifer Rising and Invocation of My Demon Brother are my favs of his. they just look amazing!
i'm German, so Fassbinder is very close to me. 😊
              suck it.

Ahhhh… By any chance, have you seen "The Consequence" (1977)?
I only saw it about a month ago and I sort of fell in love with it.

I can't get into any Kenneth Anger movies. Scorpio Rising did have a good soundtrack though.

Since you have included Hitchcock's brilliant film, Rope, loosely based on the Leopold and Loeb case, I'll add Compulsion. It's the novel, adapted to stage play, to film adaptation, based on the same case. It actually follows the case much more closely. The names were changed, of course. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it.
Much of the court transcripts are used in the film.
It's available to watch here on Filmboards or on You Tube.
You asked a pretty question; I've given you the ugly answer.
                          Fasten Your Seatbelts….
It's Going To Be A Bumpy Night!
