    "Supper's Ready" - Genesis 22:50
"The Gates Of Delirium" - Yes 21:54
    "1983 (A Merman I Should Turn To Be)" - Hendrix 13:40
"Firth Of Fifth" - Genesis 9:37
    Great ones.
CG gore is the worst thing that has ever happened to the horror genre.

      Thanks mate.
I sometimes find music so cathartic that it makes me lethargic

and a great one I've been listening to a lot lately:
Edge of Sanity - Crimson (40:00):

I think the longest piece of music that I really love is Robert Rich's
                Somnium
                , at 7 hours.

Yeah, DVD. Well, it might be available in another format now but I got it on DVD. You can hear the whole thing on youtube, though the quality isn't as good:
He did a sequel that's even longer (8 hours), though I prefer the original:

I love to hear the late beautiful precious Billy Joe Royal sing "He'll Have To Go".
God bless you and his family always!!!
                      Holly
P.S. According to this website, his original copy of the song goes for six whole minutes. (smiles)

                        Gates of Delirium - Yes
                        Awaken - Yes
One For The Vine - Genesis
A Treatise On Cosmic Fire - Todd Rundgren
                        Tarkus - ELP
                        Karn Evil 9 - ELP
                        Echoes - Pink Floyd
It may be debatable whether Nektar's "Recycled" could be considered a long song or a suite of shorter songs, but I'll list that as well.

but Tubular Bells just repeats ad nauseamit could be 3 mins or 3 hours & it would all sound roughly the same. No modulation, no emotion, just moodit's no that far removed from a John Carpenter soundtrack.
