WHY??!! This is a movie (sic!) that ONLY Ed Wood could embrace!! The story and script made absolutely NO sense (!!!), the dialogue (and acting) was wooden
and the $105,000 sets were sparse. A beach and a few tents, is all. The special effects (???) were cheesy and probably cost the producers $1.98 to make.
The poster describes this as a movie about "young adults?" Well, Rita Morley, who played the "alcoholic actress," was 37 years old when she made this movie, and she looked at least 50!! By the end of this movie, I was rolling around on the floor laughing my butt off! No, I wasn't laughing WITH this film, I was laughing AT it!!! I stayed with the movie, all right, but ONLY because I was hoping that the two "actresses" would get nekkid. They didn't. I should've stayed in bed!

AMC and TCM have always showed a drastically cut-down version of THE FLESH EATERS. Their version is not only missing some great gruesome gore shots, but also several key scenes that explain the flow of events and character motivation. It's a definitely compromised version you saw. Try renting the DVD some day and see the difference.

Only IF the broads get naked. They're SUPPOSED to BE "young adults?" They have a LOT of miles on 'em, and fat asses, to boot. This movie is in a league with "Plan 9 From Outer Space." Bad, just bad!
