OK, saw another one. towards the end him and his wife are in their bedroom Boom mike. Now maybe its not a boom mike maybe they are just freaky and were doing some home recording.

there are actually 10 instances where the boom is CLEARLY visible. How the hell did they not see it in the frame?!

To everyone who lives around here, the biggest goof was when they went on a picnic at Christmas. It's warm in the South but not THAT warm!

Exactly. There's no green grass or green leaves on the trees in West Tennessee around Christmas. I've always thought that was pretty silly.

I agree. I'm from southwest Louisiana and the grass is brownish and the trees are bare, so I can imagine what it's like as far north as Tennessee.

Umthe Christmas was when Callie Hacker got killed attempting to ambush Buford.
The picnic was not necessarily at Christmas. Factually, Buford and Pauline were ambushed in August of 1967

Then it would have been too hot.

The movie was shot uncropped, meaning that more of the top and bottom of the frame appears on a square TV screen than it would on a rectangular theater screen. TV viewers see the mic, moviegoers did not.
