He's not taking away any r8ghts from the press. The 1st Amendement does not state government funding for media organizations. You won't it anywhere.
He would shut down CNN if he could and you know that.
The same exact way Democrats would shut down Fox News if they could, as they've been trying to for years. What they would like to do and what they can do or are doing are very different things. The Constitution protects a free press and freedom of speech, it does not guarantee tax payer funding for media organizations. That last part is where you seem to be having the most difficulty understanding.

There was no public broadcasting back when The Constitution was written so things change.
Taking away their funding is the same as violating their free speech rights.
In his EO Trump even pointed out things he did not like what they were covering.
This is just a move from a control freak who is butt hurt over things he cannot control and wants to get his way.
What harm is there in the government funding public broadcasting which is peanuts in comparison to other things they pay money for?
If you don’t watch it to begin with then why do you support their free press rights being violated?

Taking away their funding is the same as violating their free speech rights.
No it isn't. Free speech protects you from the government, it doesn't include government funding. Obviously. If it did every media organization would be demanding tax payer funding.
What harm is there in the government funding public broadcasting which is peanuts in comparison to other things they pay money for?
When the government funds it the government can easily manipulate it. NPR has 84 editors, all 84 of them are registered Democrats. Not one single registered Republican. It has turned into another Democrat tool. This is the reason you want it tax payer funded. Personally I don't give a **** what their political bias and agenda is, tax payer money should not be going to any media organization, left or right.
If you don’t watch it to begin with then why do you support their free press rights being violated?
Free press rights don't include government funding. You're still having trouble with this.

Way to try and dodge and to try to spin your way out of being against freedom of the press!
Right, freedom of press is protection from the Government so thank you for showing and agreeing that Trump is wanting and trying to violate their free press rights!

Again, free press doesn't include government funding, you keep missing that part.

In this case there is an exception where the two are intertwined.
You keep missing that part as you keep moving the goalposts and refuse to answer if you are for free speech or not.

No, simply because you try and wish it into existence strictly for your political talking points doesn't necessarily make it so. There's nowhere in the 1st Amendment guaranteeing the government fund media organizations.
and refuse to answer if you are for free speech or not.
I never once refused to answer, you never asked, you just made a bogus accusation that I was against it, stupid. I'm very much for free speech, I'm not in favor of government funding media organizations. Two very different things.

OK so you’re for free speech but against freedom of the press.
Obviously since you support Trump violating those rights.

No, I'm against government funded media organizations. Free press doesn't include government funding. You're still not understanding this important fact.

Why would it be unconstitutional? There's nothing in the Constitution about funding TV and radio stations that no one actually watches or listens to.

There must be enough who watch and listen to them where Trump wants to take away the funding of channels which is taking away their free press rights.
Are you for or against freedom of the press even when they report the truth making the Orange One look bad, which is his own doing.

he already killed independent broadcasting with the PIRATE Act and did away with HAM radio, this just more of the same.
                                    the question is, why?
