yup really trippy one. i was about to ask if anyone seen this movie. other movies: human traffic the equivalent of trainspotting but on electro irreversible(u don't have to take any fungus), arizona dream, in fact all emir kusturika's movies have sthunique, no one mentioned the doors(oliver stone), a clockwork orange, the salton sea(but no so) and why not london. now movies off the topic, that i recommend slc punk, fight club, dead poet's society, the chumscrubber, waking life, history boys and i'm a fan of larry clark's work: kids, ken park, wassup rockers, another day in paradise and bully. there may be more but now i can't remember.

I really wouldn't consider Across the Universe a trippy movie, rox. I mean, it has very trippy visuals, but the plot, depth and meaning are hardly trippy/weird.
On another note.. Thank you very much OP/other posters for this thread! I know probably one or two people with the same taste of movies that I have, but their suggestions are far from anything I haven't seen. My netflix has been running low and I've needed suggestions on some good movies, and these are exactly my taste.

Any film directed by Ken Russell. He directed ALTERED STATES, however his earlier films are better. THE DEVILS and THE MUSIC LOVERS are his best. These are not available on DVD, only VHS, and they are NOT worth watching in this format.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned any of arrabal's filmsI've only seen "viva la muerte" and "I will walk like a crazy horse" so far, and I strongly encourage any of you into surreal or "trippy" cinema to check them out if you haven't.
