Burton Gillem used to be a boxer and a firefighter in Richardson Tx. The one mechanic who was near the back of the plane.

I saw Burton Gilliam refereeing a fight several years ago. My brother, who with me would watch the Gilliam scene in the hangar over and over and over and over, called me and told me. I checked it out, sure enough it was him.
"That's what I always ask him what are you doin' up there, you doin' some stunt flyin' or somethin'? - LOL. Throw in the hilarious gestures. -

One thing I didn't like about that scene was it portayed mechanics as bing dumb. And I'm not a mechanic.

I am becoming an IMDB forum cynic, because I opened this thread totally expecting someone to be complaining the movie was not realistic or had a huge plot hole because there would really only be ONE Mechanic in a place like that!
