They're being pulled into the dream by the unborn baby (like Alice in 4 and Kristen in 3)

Going by the logic of earlier entries they don't really. In 3, Nancy was awake when Kirsten pulled her in and Debbie was awake in 4

I think she was asleep when that happened, which is why we see her disappear when she sits down. There is no way she could just vanish like that from reality. Plus when she woke up she was already in the chair, she didn't just appear in it.

In Freddy's Dead though. That one kid is trying to fall asleep. And when he gets knocked out he falls through the table and vanishes a la Nightmare 3

Yes, but Freddy is more powerful at that point and basically have the whole town under his control to where he can have reality and the dream world overlap so something like that is capable of happening.

He was powerful enough to perhaps not take into injury as much in the dream world and transfer himself from the dream world into reality (where he took over his skeleton body), but not to cause people to disappear when they enter the dream world. I think he would need to be more in control of reality to have that happen and he certainly was capable of that by Freddy's Dead when he killed all the children.

Yeah Mark was the worst to me. The chic who fell asleep in the pool was similar to the bathtub scene i think in the 1st one. But yeah Mark was like "Okay no problem." A few moments laterzzzz
