In countries like China and North Korea political prisoners are treated as slave labor and basically worked to death. Many of these are people who have commited no real crime I.E. they have not done anything thats causes actual measurable damage or harm to the life, liberty or property of others.
Here in the state we have incarcerated many at great expense. Murderers, serial rapists, gang bangers, career criminals with rap sheets as long as my arm. Our prisons are a veritable lap of luxury compared to what those innocent people overseas endure. Those prisoners are in far better shape physically. They could accomplish a great deal if put to work.
I propose a trade. We contract with the totalitarian nations in a prisoner exchange. In the eyes of these nations these people are little more than chattel. They would be offered workers in good condition in exchange for the tired half starved individuals they have now. For them it would be win-win. They would get better workers and would no longer be seen as countries that tortured the innocent. We revoke the citizenship of these worst of the worst and ship them overseas to be someone elses problem and in return we free innocent people from a life of captivity.

The U.S. could never do that. It would be unconstitutional. We have enshrined in our Constitution that there can be no cruel or unusual punishment. The Chinese torture their prisoners. It's been recently documented that Uighurs imprisoned for their religion are subject to brainwashing and beatings. How can a conservative like you even propose such a thing? It's un-American.
In addition, many people are in prison for nonviolent drug possession crimes. That's hardly an excuse to torture them in a Chinese prison.

What other countries do is not on us. All we are doing is revoking citizenship and deporting individuals and that is 100% legal. What happens to those former citizens after they get there is none of our concern.

But that is not the class of people I had suggested deporting is it.
I am not a conservative. I used to be but I hate the leftist to much remain one. You see I identified a flaw in the conservative philosophy. Unfortunately they not only share this same flaw with the left but it is the biggest flaw with either side. I could not remain a part of something that had anything in common with the left.

We make it legal. If a person commits serious capital crimes we ought to revoke there citizenship. If a person has been a criminal all their life and shows no sign or remorse or makes any effort to change then they don't deserve American citizenship.

Ok, so let's talk clearly. You maybe COULD do that, but not under the current legal framework. You would need robust new legislation, and it would have to survive some serious court challenges. And as Gameboy indicates, I am not sure that it would survive a constitutional challenge.
No matter. Ok, with that settled, now you can go back to promoting the benefits of your scheme, -

There are already circumstances under which citizenship could be revoked. Most of those circstances are far less heinous than capitol murder or serial rape. I don't think that pushing through legistlation to strip such individuals of citizenship would be to hard a sell. I can't imagine that too many would object. I mean seriously, would you?

Even if they were stripped of U.S. citizenship, aliens in this country are also protected by the Bill of Rights. Sorry, what you're proposing is unconstitutional.

You didn't say you just want to deport them. You want to deliver them to the Chinese for their concentration camps for cruel and unusual punishment. That would be unconstitutional. I suppose you could dump them over the border like we do to illegal aliens now. But I'm sure you don't want murderers and rapists getting off Scot free in Mexico.

So we deport them. Doesn't mean they get to chose the location. If that just so happens to be China [wink, wink] That's neither cruel & unusual or even our problem.

All the ACLU would have to do is show pics of Uighurs who were tortured in Chinese prison camps. Then the right would STFU and kow tow.
