                  Just my two cents, but the fx in this movie DO hold up and look stunning to this day. I remember being blown away by the effects in this movie and The Shadow back in the theaters. They both have their charms still, but The Mask's fx holds up so well because it was never trying to be realistic.

                    Just watched it again for the first time in ages and I agree the effects are still tremendous, even if it had been made today if it looked this good I can't see anyone complaining.

                      I think it does hold up, as does the whole film. It's not the greatest film bit it was a part of our childhoods, and Jim Carrey is great in the role. 🙂
                      I enjoyed the film.
