I have not seen Hellyboy 1 or 2. Though I am tempted to see it, but I wonder if it is bad for Christians to watch. Hellboy the son of Satan comes to earth to fight evil. I think high minded Christians would object to seeing Hellyboy films because it somehow reflects upon Satan in a positive light. I read on a christian movie review website where one person quoted the bible and said demons can not be redeemed. Even though this movie just fantasy fiction the idea that would make Satan look good would be an abomanation to God. I honestly do not think people who saw the films in the theater would walk out say I think demons are cool I want to worship satan. But others would say this Satan's influence of making himself popular with moviegoers.
How many Christians like Hellboy? -

Belief in a supernatural source of evil is unnecessary -We alone are capable of every wickedness -

Fundamentalist Christians really crack me up. If you can't watch a movie, because you think it might disturb your faith, then your faith isn't very strong in the first place.
I think you should pray more, and do some Hell Marys. Head bunt the wall after each Hell Mary to help you stay strong in these dire times of evil and Satan's trickery. -

opposing abortion, birth control, gay marriage
We've been against those things for 2000 years, if anything the Fundies are copying us in those matters (while discarding everything else and replacing it with their counterfeit brand of Christianity).
universal health care
The Church has no problem with universal health care where did you hear otherwise?

So you don't want to be lumped in with people who believe disgusting, ignorant harmful things, not because you're against these beliefs but because you feel they have been stolen from you? Classic. -

The Catholic Church doesn't believe in "disgusting ignorant harmful things". When the Church makes these decisions it does so with the best interests of humanity in mind.

HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I always laugh when I see one group claiming to be christian say the others are all fake. All christian seem to do this. I thought you all worshiped the same god?
How can one group of Christians be right and the others wrong? -

We do, it's just that Catholicism is the best way to go about it. We have 7 Sacraments, they only have 2. Our Priests have apostolic succession (a direct lineage of the priesthood from the Apostles till now), they don't. We have the Eucharist, they only have 'communion'. We have Sacred Tradition as well as Sacred Scripture, they only have Scripture. Our Bibles have 72 books, theirs have only 66. We have a Pope (St Peter's spiritual descendants), they don't.
They can still get to heaven, it's just that they are making it harder for themselves by limiting their resources. Well that and they're all obsessed with that End Times Left Behind Rapture crap.
Anywho, the Catholic Church has been around for 2000 years, Protestants have been around for 500 years, and Fundamentalism is about 150 years old.
