I just know that someone should have slapped that little brat in the hospital scene when she was screaming and whining. What a BRAT! She blames her sister because she took the car and drove off. I just wanted her to shut up.
It was completely reasonable for the older sister to give her the keys and expect she'd stay in the circle like they agreed. -

No, Vinny said nothing about her being autistic. She did, however, say that she made a wheezing sound in the back of her throat. She was basically just a spoiled immature brat, and her parents poured all their energy into the "perfect" older daughter, Hannah.
I must admit, though, that I love the scene where Ginger throws a hissy fit after failing her drivers test. I promised Jennifer that I would drive her to the Pickle Pan!!! Lol -

I suspect there were some deleted scenes that fleshed out Ginger more because they set up a story line about her having an eating disorder: always eating but skinny, the throat thing (most likely bulimia) and never developed it and then gave her an out of no-where love interest. She was annoying as hell, but I don't think she had a mental deficiency other than being spoiled.
