I enjoy movies with both traditional zombies (slow, unintelligent, flesh-eating), and fast and agressive ones that don't necessarily eat flesh but maybe just bite to infect. Right now though, I'm in a phase where I want to see more of the latter, but I can only think of the 28 movies and the Rec/Quarantine ones. And I guess Zombieland, but I don't really have comedies in mind.
Suggest as many movies as you can think of with that type of zombie, from any country. Let's see how big this thread can get -

2004, actually. And, yeah, 2004's "Dawn of the Dead" is the most obvious example of "fast" zombies, and is actually a pretty good movie, surprisingly enough. In many ways, it's even superior to the original "Dawn".
Also, the remake of "Day of the Dead" in 2008 had "fast" zombies. It wasawful. It was cheesy without the campy fun of the "Return of the Living Dead" and in no way a good zombie movie even without the cheesiness. -

One movie with zombies that could still think and run fast was "The Last Man on Earth" 1964 with Vincent Price. It turns out some might have had a lighter dose of the virus or else had more resistance to it.
I don't know everything. Neither does anyone else -

It's been a while since I last saw this/Weeks now, but I'm pretty sure some of the characters get attacked to the point of dying, and THEN turn into "infected".
I know that's not the standard zombie, hence the quotation marks. 0/10, try again. -

They weren't zombies in 28 Days Later. The movie borrowed heavily from the genre but to be a zombie a person must be dead. These were not dead, they were infected with a rage virus.
Hence the quotation marks.for the 3rd time now
