THAT CRAP WITH HIM SLAPPING HER, AND "MASTER" STUFF WAS PURE TRASH.
I DONT CARE WHAT SHE EVER DID/SAID, HE IS A DISGUSTINGLY UGLY, REPUGNANT MAN, THAT PERSONALLY IF I WAS HER I WOULD HAVE FOUND A WAY TO OFF HIM AND SURVIVE ON HIM FOR A LONG TIME!!
WHAT A TIRESOME INSULT THIS MOVIE IS AND IF THIS IS WHAT HER HUSBAND MAKES, THESE KINDS OF MOVIES, PLEASE DELIVER US FROM MR MADONNA. -

I do agree! Even though she was horrible to him on the ship does not mean that he could hit her and almost rape (or did rape her couldn't tell) like that! The movie is just horrible!

Was it OK for her to repeatedly slap him too? Or does that also make Madonna's character (and by your logic, both Madonna and Guy Ritchie) tiresome, insulting and disgusting, ugly and repugnant?

It was the taming of the shrewso to speak. Although she didn't hit him when they were on the ship, she heaped tons of abuse on him. When he got his chance he taught her a lesson. What you're failing to see is that she liked it and in a sense knew she deserved it and that's why she fell in love with him. As she said herself, "maybe what I wanted wasn't what I needed."
I guess killing people in films is okay but slapping a foul mouthed woman is not? I got it and I am a womanand a feminist. -

what are you talking about? She was serving him hand and foot when he suddenly started attacking her!!! And none of what you're saying excuses a man violently coming after a woman and then almost RAPING her!!! Are you really a feminist??? I'm shocked!
