Never worked in a restaurant, but did work at an FYE store for several years. Next to our cash registers were demagnetizers that deactivated the security tags on CDs and DVDs. They also worked on credit card strips. If a customer ever crossed that line and happened to be paying with a credit card, I guess you know what happened next. Not saying it happened often, but it did happen.

I don't see how it was a punishment though. They never told her what they did and she liked the food. What she doesn't know she wont suffer from.
She doesn't have to know. And if she did, do you seriously think she wouldn't have them all brought up on charges??
The whole point of screwing with someone like that is that they go through life thinking that THEY got one up on the 'peons' that are there to serve her, when in reality she is eating lice/dandruff, Frumunda cheese, and lung butter - and absolutely enjoying it. That is way more satisfying to the perpetrators than doing something obvious or telling her about it. -

The funny thing is the actress really sells it.
She's probably the nicest, sweetest person in the world, but her character is sooo mean, and she's so good at playing her that you HATE her.
