If you like full-on poontang on screen, I can recommend
http://www.imdb.com/board/11772947/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
It opens with a frickin' close-up, if you would believe it. -

You must have misunderstood me. I said that showing exposed genitals is rare in R rated movies. I didn't say it never happens. By the way, I have never seen Code 46 ever mentioned in these online discussions where men are complaining about a lack of shaved women in movies. Must mean it isn't well known. I just now did an internet search and saw that it was European and that the blue ray version is hard to find in the USA. There you go. All the movies that these men are able to mention that show women shaved are either limited release, European, or porn.

Thanks. I agree. I find it a bit perverted how so many men demand to see more shaved female genitals in mainstream movies just because according to them "all women are shaved these days". I am really not so sure that is true. How would you know unless you sneak into women's locker rooms? Basing it on what your girlfriends do for you means nothing. A lot of women do that only because a man demands that. It is an abnormal and unhealthy thing to do. The skin in that area is too delicate. Even during bikini season itis really only necessary to trim it. Shaving it gives the camel toe look and a woman has to be a complete slut to show off camel toe. I hope this sick shaving fad ends soon and I doubt that most women even do it. If you were to stop most women on the street and ask them to strip I doubt most would be shaved unless they have demanding boyfriends, are porn stars, or Victoria Secret models. It seems pedophile like for men to even like this look.

In other words I find it hard to believe that as many as 60% are completely waxed. I saw a survey once that showed a lot of women claiming they were somewhere inbetween completely waxed and full bush. That seems more reasonable to me. It seems women would only be completely waxed for certain purposes or only certain times of the year.

I just read the article you posted. It doesnt say 60% of women are shaved bare. It says 60% are shaved either sometimes or always and also says it is only among women under 25. It goes down to 50% for women who are 25-29. It also says these women aren't monogamous. Based on that I would say most women have hair. Can't believe an article was written on something so perverted but those are the times we live in.

I find you offensive.
Not only do you judge men for having a personal preference, you judge the women for doing what they want with their own body hair. "Shaving hair is sick." Wow, thanks for speaking up against harmless personal choices that have nothing to do with you your unwarranted judgments are appreciated.
It seems pedophilic to prefer shaved? Seems like you're the only one making that correlation, the only one bringing up that topic; maybe you should ponder on that. Personally I prefer it because it looks cleaner and you can see everything. But I guess now I'm a pedophile. Durr.
The way movies hide women's genitalia behind pubic hair while men swing free is a bit unfair; but hey, as long as YOU're not offended.
Get over it woman. -

FANTASTIC reply,
THANK YOU SO SO MUCH, godofapathy
for managing, with such simplicity and, frankly, cool class, to shut this stupid woman's mouth, and her rampant and disgusting, OFFENSIVE judgmental hypocrisy and seeming sense of intrinsic, universal self-entitlement.
thank you. -

In my experience, the more attractive a girl is, the more likely she is to shave.
I've dated some very attractive women, and all of them without exception have shaved regularly, and some of them go to extra efforts such as applying deodorants..
Meanwhile, I've dated some less attractive women ("with good personalities") and nearly all of them give your spiel about how a woman shouldn't have to shave to please a man, it is what it is and if you don't like it that's your problem, blah blah blah.
So in summary, it's nearly always the fatties and the sexually unsuccessful who preach about how women shouldn't shave. -

I think you have serious psychological issues that you should consider seeing a therapist about. You make the most bizarre correlations and are one of the most judgmental people I have seen on this website.
It is not any more perverted for a man to enjoy a woman's shaved genitals than it is for them to like unshaven ones. It's also not unhealthy to shave one's pubic hair in any way. That is an asinine and unproven argument.
For someone who has a problem with nudity, you seem to have an obsession with other people's nudity and genitalia.
I hope this sick shaving fad ends soon
So other people who prefer having their genitals shaved should stop because someone whom they will never know and someone who will never see them naked finds it distasteful? you are so conceited.
You need to get your head out of other people's crotches and stop being such a judgmental jackA$$. What people do with their own bodies is none of your damn business. You don't like nudity in films, then don't watch the films. But don't come here with your fallacy laden arguments and demanding that people kowtow to your narrow viewpoint.
Oh and I already know what your response will be because I've seen you give it to other people, "I can complain as much as I want to." And yes, you can. And you know what? Other people can put as much nudity in their films as they want to. Other people can shave their genitalia as much as they want to and you know why? Because because them doing so has nothing to do with you and is none of your business.
Get over yourself, you self righteous and close minded fool. -

Oh great, another American being offended about nudity!
European movies have had graphic nudity, both male and female, for ages without the rating being high. It all depends on the situation. People walking around naked won't necessarily give you the highest rating, unless it's a specific case.
I don't know about other countries, but here in Sweden Wolf got 15- rating which is the highest rating. As was the case in U.K, I believe.
But a film like the Reader, for instance was rated "children-approved" which would correspond to G-rated. Meaning that the whole family could watch it together. Tough I wouldn't recommend it..
It's all a matter of context and how it fits the story.
Nudity has been prominent in Europe for ages. It's not until recently that America has cached up on it.
Nudity isn't really that big of a deal. We are really liberal about that. We are far more concerned about movies with violent content than showing piece of skin. it's not like children will take any harm of seeing a naked body.
