I always see men complaining on the internet about how mainstream movies that show female genitals are very rare and instead usually just show pubic hair. They then list the movie or movies that can be counted on one hand or one finger that actually show female genitals. I am surprised they never mention this one. That scene near the end where the blonde does the naked dance for the Swiss guy is borderline pornographic. No, it doesn't actually show her vagina, but her hair is cut in a way that is shows a little too much for an R rating. I was shocked. Thank goodness that was the only scene I noticed. Even the scenes that had fully shaved women didn't show vaginas due to distance from the camera and positioning of legs.

I do not find vaginas particularly shocking
Certainly not in the context of an R rated movie.

Are you serious? It is rare to see them in R rated movies unless they are covered in hair. Penises are rare too. Showing exposed genitals is considered NC-17 traditionally. I see a lot of men complaining about how penises, as rare as they are, are actually shown more in R rated films than exposed vaginas, or vulvas I should say. Get over it men.
How do you think women have felt all these years with the countless full frontal female nude scenes showing pubic hair on women while seeing hardly any full frontal men? I don't agree with the argument that a pubic hair covered woman isn't showing anything. It is actually a little offensive to suggest that. If the pubic hair is attached to her then how is she not showing anything?

They've probably felt great. A nice fat pay check and in this case, the lead female has a monster career ahead of herself. Europe has been showing Full Frontals for years, America is just starting to catch up. The ratings board decides what can pass. Bring your beef to them. Ever see 'Shame'?Fassbender is walking around with his huge dong out the whole film.

You sound like a retarded feminist.
The guys who say that are in fact correct. Penises in R rated movies happen fairly often nowadays. When was the last time you saw female genitalia without a fake bush covering it in an R rated movie? When it's obscured in its entirety, I'm not even sure that counts as nudity.
And as much as women complain about "unrealistic expectations", virtually all body types of women get naked in movies and our culture generally accepts it.
If a guy gets naked and he's not ripped with a oversized dong, he's generally in that scene to be mocked. This is only a western thing, as the rest of the world takes a more normal stance on nudity. The expectations for men have always been higher.
Personally, I don't care either way, but when dumb women like yourself start ranting about these things, it gets embarrassing. Step out of your feminist echo chamber for a moment.

                  This is strange.
I knew this film had a reputation for its nudity. Cannot remember a thing about it.

If you like full-on poontang on screen, I can recommend
                      http://www.imdb.com/board/11772947/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
It opens with a frickin' close-up, if you would believe it.

You've never seen Code 46, have you?
There is a full-on, totally shaved beaver shot.
This movie isn't so bad. More cussing than anything.

You must have misunderstood me. I said that showing exposed genitals is rare in R rated movies. I didn't say it never happens. By the way, I have never seen Code 46 ever mentioned in these online discussions where men are complaining about a lack of shaved women in movies. Must mean it isn't well known. I just now did an internet search and saw that it was European and that the blue ray version is hard to find in the USA. There you go. All the movies that these men are able to mention that show women shaved are either limited release, European, or porn.

Thanks. I agree. I find it a bit perverted how so many men demand to see more shaved female genitals in mainstream movies just because according to them "all women are shaved these days". I am really not so sure that is true. How would you know unless you sneak into women's locker rooms? Basing it on what your girlfriends do for you means nothing. A lot of women do that only because a man demands that. It is an abnormal and unhealthy thing to do. The skin in that area is too delicate. Even during bikini season itis really only necessary to trim it. Shaving it gives the camel toe look and a woman has to be a complete slut to show off camel toe. I hope this sick shaving fad ends soon and I doubt that most women even do it. If you were to stop most women on the street and ask them to strip I doubt most would be shaved unless they have demanding boyfriends, are porn stars, or Victoria Secret models. It seems pedophile like for men to even like this look.

You mention the pre 70s bush look. It was actually common to be covered in hair well into the early millenial years. As for surveys.I don't trust those. Women will lie about that now which is a shame.

In other words I find it hard to believe that as many as 60% are completely waxed. I saw a survey once that showed a lot of women claiming they were somewhere inbetween completely waxed and full bush. That seems more reasonable to me. It seems women would only be completely waxed for certain purposes or only certain times of the year.

I just read the article you posted. It doesnt say 60% of women are shaved bare. It says 60% are shaved either sometimes or always and also says it is only among women under 25. It goes down to 50% for women who are 25-29. It also says these women aren't monogamous. Based on that I would say most women have hair. Can't believe an article was written on something so perverted but those are the times we live in.
