Acting was great EXCEPT for Meryl Streep….

I'm convinced that Streep could fart on the screen for ninety minutes w/o saying a word and they'll STILL give her a nomination. It's almost a reflex action. What she is is an impressionist, not an actress.
I've enjoyed some of Streep's work, but I wouldn't say I'm a fan. But I thought your comment was hilarious. I think Sandra Bullock said something to the effect that they ought to have a separate Oscar category just for Streep. -

I don't buy the "that was the point" line. I thought she was awful in this part.
That's your baseless opinion. I've been around people that were exactly like her character and she played it dead on. Her character had obvious mental issues, one being boderline personality disorder and that is the behavior they exhibit. -

This much is certain: long after Meryl Streep has passed, much of her film/TV/theater work will be praised.
Also, you won't live forever, meaning once you die, you won't be discussing your opinion. Which spews forth just like certain bodily functions.
It don't matter who you hear it from. It's the same story. -

And after this no talented mimic/impersonator has passed on, many people out there will be no longer afraid to tell the world just how overrated she was. She stinksand she can have a whole row of Oscars-she still stinks.
