very wise. so have i but only have this one account. i also had one in JC's forum, but he gave me permaban for trying to revive the Soapbox a bit. i must have worded the OP not lame enough for it to not violate forum standards. then got banned. so sad.

Why, thank you. I must admit, my literary voice is that of a wide-eyed, fresh-from-university literature student who is trying desperately to transform the vastly-differing writing stipulations of four different professors into a singular, cohesive style.

Sounds like a recipe for schizophrenia! But you have a lovely style, especially when you're not being haunted by the spectres of canonical literature.
btw, feel free to ignore the rubbish I write. I come here to have fun, not to do serious literary analysis. -

Really??? I haven't heard this one. I know he got into trouble for taking suggestive photographs of Alice Liddell (he would have fared very badly on this board; would probably have been doxxed by hungry) but I didn't know about the Jack the Ripper angle.

He was! There's a book about it called
Jack the Ripper, "Light-Hearted Friend
," written by Richard Wallace, but you can read a condensed version of the theory here:

It's an entirely unsubstantiated accusation, with no evidence whatsoever to support it. Interestingly, though, John Tenniel (the illustrator for the Alice novels), illustrated quite a few of the most famous Ripper cartoons. I suppose, overall, 'twas brillig, and the slithy toves did gyre and gymble in the wabe.

Your elaborate and astute responses to Gameboy in that one thread were really good tho bc they have a lot of truth in it and u depicted it in understandable and imaginative ways.. I admire Gameboy's tenacity and steadfastness whenever a storm breaks loose on him, and fundamentally,he is fighting the good fight, but i wish he would take an advice or two from you, too sometimes because those could actually be of help beating his bullies eventually.

True. Jacky was brilliant in that thread. Gameboy gets too hot under the collar (though he will deny it even as his beard goes up in flames) to be really effective. I think you have to be a Zen Buddhist to be a really good poster (I almost said troll).

You are right, as an admin you just can't expose urself to that shark tank like that. Here's hoping he will take your advice into account, even if he's never gonna admit to it. We know our Gameboy.
