hey, sometimes you need to watch these kinds of movies to get your man-card ticket punched. besides, it wasn't that bad, aside from the missing middle part.

Is it supposed to be sent to you automatically, or do you have to sign-up somewhere to get one?

30 year old man here Just watched this alone, along with "Meet Joe Black" a couple weeks ago alone. And I feel this strange sensation in my groin area as if my manhood is receding and a sudden influx of estrogen throughout my system
These were terrible movies. The impossibilities of such I can accept like "Man from Earth" where he was like 1000 years old, the whole movie takes place in one room basically and its a fantastic movie. This movie had no story arc really, no character development, other than her to "Stop running!" well, we all saw that coming fast. Awful, I like good romance films too which is why I even gave these a shot. Guess I'll have to stick with the good novels, movies are failing lately in that genre, either that or it's just so predictable it either goes one way or the other, love or don't love. Not much you can do with that, mix it up add love triangles Jerry Springer crap, but in the end it's boy meets girl and it works or doesn't.

SPOILER IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE YET
I'm a woman and thought this movie was complete drivel. I don't care much for romantic comedies and less so for romantic fantasies. Logic dictates that the odds of Adeline getting put into a state of hypothermia at the same time electricity strikes not just once but twice is ridiculous. That she falls in love with the son of the man she loved in the 1960's out of all the people in California is another implausibility.
It was also rather predictable right down to her finding a gray hair at the end. I wish Hollywood would concentrate on quality of movies rather than quantity. Too many theatres so too many crap movies are being made to fill those theatres. Every once in a while a gem comes along but not as often as they used to.
Plus I didn't think she was a very good actress. And Ellis was a stalker.

Tons of implausible events. The mathematical likelihood of her getting those 3 things to happen at once with the lightning alone is in the trillions (screw you Brits and your billiard, its a trillion, live with it).
Then While she was in UK no less she meets a guy who happens to be the father of the guy she loves oh so much back in America. That's even more improbable than the first one, maybe. Were getting into the one in a quintillion or sextillion at any point. It's a movie so we are meant to accept outlandish possibilities because movies are "Amazing Stories". But his was too impossible.
At least he can ask his dad how she was in bed 40 years ago, or whatever, if that's like family dinner table talk. It's a giant elephant in the room right? I mean "hey babe Just curious but well Who is bigger? Was I better than my dad? I bet they didn't do that tongue thing back then right? Right???". So many insecure guys and Ellis strikes me as one as a guy, compensating, incessant philanthropy isn't just a cause of being a "good guy". People that dedicated to serving are either very religious or feel they've done very wrong and believe in Karma or something. Or they are acting in movies and don't really exist. Ah-ha.

Have you ever heard of suspension of disbelief? It's one of those things that makes fiction enjoyable like LOTR, Star Wars, Casablanca, Singing in the Rain.

Yeah ok, It's just so unlikely it's hard to remain attached to the story, I guess that's how movies are made though, it wouldn't be an awesome tale without extremely unlikely events liking together to form the story.

You realize this wasn't a documantary right? But other than your lack of liking anything romantic you sound like a real catch. Lucky man out there somewhere.

(Though, no problem with the characters or cast, I do, and this is in reference to seeing Adeline's loving sister, get a bit freaked out when a sibling (Ellen Burstyn as Flemming) as Adeline's sister stays aging. Maybe she should have been the same age all the time

I actually loved the film's laid-back, surreal tale of an ageless woman, but to finsh this, yeah, I admit, it's rather hard for my fellow alpha males to sit through it.
