no, this episode i watched wasn't an hour long it was 30 minutes long.
so i think you are mistaken.
Nope, the episode with Newmar as the devil is one of the hour-long episodes. It's from Season 4, all the episodes from that season were an hour long.
the episode i just watched that is my all time favorite is the episode where this guy who has this girlfriend who uses him, takes him for granted, and doesn't want to commit to him in a relationship, he finds this guy in a library room who has a love potion he sells to him. he thinks it will solve his problem of his gf being non-commital with him in a relationship.
he puts it in her drink and then she is uncontrollably attached to him, and attracted to him. she can't ever live without him, almost not even for 30 minutes. she smothers him with her physical love and affection, and attention to the point where he can't take it anymore.
then he gets a different potion that de-activates the spell on her.
it really is extraordinary this episode. it's the most entertaining episode i've watched of ttz.
it makes you ponder that if you coud do this to a girl that you really like would you?
do you love this episode a lot?
Are you sure this is a TZ episode? I'm trying to remember it. From your description, it sounds a bit like I Dream of Genie, another episode from Season 4, but it's a genie in a lamp that grants the guy a wish and he wishes for some attractive girl in his office to fall in love with him and the results are much the same as what you described.

then why did this episode i watched recently only last for 30 minutes?
why would they cut out so much of this epiosde for tv?
nope sure it is the twilight zone bc it said that at the beggining of the episode. so it looks like i stumped you on this.

The fourth season of The Twilight Zone aired Thursdays at 9:00–10:00 pm on CBS from January 3 to May 23, 1963.
This season broke with the previous seasons in presenting hour-long episodes instead of the earlier half-hour episodes.

ok well that's lame that they didnt show the whole ep. recently
so was an hour long episodic show really rare in the early '60s?

I'm surprised they didn't show the whole episode. I've seen the entire hour-long episodes on the SyFy Twilight Zone marathons over the years.

The episode he is bringing up is called, "The Chaser."
After the boy gives the girl the love potion and she is all over him, he gets tired of her and gets a potion to end it which is really poison but only suggested in a subliminal way.

hey i just watched an episode of mchale's navy and you won't believe who was in the episode. it actually has the girl we were just talking about, yvonne craig. i just watched this episode like 2 days after we talked about her being hot on batman.
and oh my gosh she looks so beautiful it's amazing. she has the brightest, most stunning light blue eyes. im talking extremely captivating, hypnotically beautiful. i was amazed by how beautiful her eyes are in this. these stunning crystal clear eyes wow. and also they even show her cleavage in a dress. wow, never knew she had medium sized tits before i watched her in this. she had petite sides in this dress.
btw this ep. was made in 1965 so a year before she got batman in 1966.
have you ever watched her in this ep.?

I like McHale's Navy more than Gomer Pyle. I barely watched Gomer Pyle USMC but I liked Gomer on the Andy Griffith Show.
Yeah, Hogan's Heroes is good too. I like it more than McHale's Navy and Gomer Pyle USMC.
Some trivia: Ilsa She Wolf of the SS , one of my favorite exploitation films from the '70s, was filmed on the set of Hogan's Heroes. The film takes place at a concentration camp and stars luscious Dyanne Thorne as the titular character. Thorne's character was loosely based on the real life Nazi warden Ilsa Koch. According to IMDb:
Filmed on the set of Hogan's Heroes (1965). The series had already been cancelled, and, on learning that the movie had the camp being burned down at the end, the set was given over to save the cost of demolition.

yes! yes! i'm so happy you are a fan of isla she wolf of the s.s. one of the best films ever made. a film so raw, so extreme so jarring and disturbing.
tarantino apparently is such a huge fan he is contemplating remaking it.
isn't it one of the most disturbing, controversial, extreme, edgy, gritty, harrowing, boundaring breaking, realistically violent, grueling, taboo breaking films you've ever watched? and is it one of the hardest films you've ever gotten through bc it is so intense and disturbing that you have ever watched?
i heard it is a very loud movie as far as the sounds of sexual pleasure from isla.
i've read about the legendary greatness of this film online for 15 years now. its a film that i can't believe actually exists, bc it is so taboo. i mean how more controversial can you get when you make a completely balls all out, extreme movie about hitler's germany done '70s explotiation style except make it even more extreme and edgy with a lot of sex and nudity and torture and whipping?
the only more controversial kind of movie is nunsploitation which is a by product film subgenre mixing nuns and religion with sex and nudity, so it's sexploitation and nuns.
these subgenres, nunsploitation and exploitation films joe bob briggs, famous b movie reviewer knows all about.
i still can't believe they actually made a film about one of the most taboo subjects in the history of the world, hitler's germany during wwII and made a freaking daring done in a exploitation style movie that is comical in it's absurdly style of storytelling and lurid details. so almost making fun of hitler's germany during wwII.
well that is the best way to condemn and punish hitler, to degrade him like mel brooks did in the producers; "spring time for hitler song," and the way he made fun of him with his portrayal of hitler. he said about hitler the best way to acknowledge hitler is to defame him, ridicule him.
dude you dont even know how hot dyanne thorne is in this film. ****ing a. one of the hottest characters and one of the hottest women in the history of film.
she always reminded me of sybil danning bc their faces look so much alike, their eyes are so similar looking and they both have blond hair and they both have this very icy, specific, very particular European girl look to their faces and eyes. also they both had this confidence and tough girl, rigid authoritarian presences. also they were both tall girls.
i loved dyanne thorne in a little known sexpliotation comedy fantasy fairy tale movie called pinnochio from 1974. i find it interesting how they casted 2 girls from this movie in isla she wolf of the s.s. dyanne thorne and ushi digard.
i loved so much and appreciated so much how tarantino put in his grindhouse movie fake trailer parody to isla she wolf of the s.s. sybil danning as ilsa. i loved and appreciated this so much bc i always thought they were similar actresses bc of how they looked and acted and bc they both had the same strong willed personalities and confidence in '70s exploitation movies.
i loved that nod, tribute to this film from tarnatino and loved the nod, tribute to dyanne thorne and sybil danning. it's like tarantino did this for me bc he knew that i put these 2 actresses together.
but i'm sad that tarnatino didn't cast dyanne thorne in this fake movie trailer that would have been better.
i think it's pretty safe to say that isla she wolf of the s.s. could not under any circumstances be made today bc it is too controversial of a subject. back in the '70s filmmakers were actually(i saw this sarcastically bc they should always have 100% creative freedom) allowed to let their freak flag fly and make the most controversial movies in exploitation films. it is the best time, decade for movies bc of this complete freedom.
you've talked about this before you said the '60s and '70s are the best decades for horror movies bc of the classic films in these decades.
finally horror movie directors didnt have to get approved by the strict movie ratings boards for horror movies in the '60 and '70s which they had to in the '50 and before. they had a lot more new found freedom with what they could show, the content and stories they could tell in the '60s and '70s which were completely new to them.

isn't it one of the most disturbing, controversial, extreme, edgy, gritty, harrowing, boundaring breaking, realistically violent, grueling, taboo breaking films you've ever watched? and is it one of the hardest films you've ever gotten through bc it is so intense and disturbing that you have ever watched?
I don't know about "taboo breaking" but the first time I watched Ilsa She Wolf of the SS, I thought that it was somewhat disturbing esp. the castration part. It's also campy and over the top, so it's hard to take it too seriously (reminds me of Cannibal Ferox in that respect). The sequel Ilsa Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks is fun too but not nearly as gross or graphic as Ilsa She Wolf of the SS. I recommend both Ilsa films for the trashy delights that they are. There's a couple of other Ilsa films that I haven't seen yet: Ilsa the Tigress of Siberia and Ilsa the Wicked Warden. All of them star Dyanne Thorne.

i read that jesus franco directed isla the wicked warden so that film has to be a great film.
are you a big franco fan? i heard that every film he has directed has an epic scene that is great.
you said the first isla film is one of your favorite exploitation films is it really that well made? how many stars would you give it from 2-5?
how do you like more as a director jesus franco or joe d'amato?
