So, how did you all come across Banshee?

I was reading a take down of the current state of "The Walking Dead" and they mentioned the show runners\writers could take a lesson from "Banshee" on how to manage multiple story arcs. So I decided to check it out! Just finished ep 5 of season 3 and am beyond hooked and now beyond shocked. I know there is only a partial season 4 and I have heard mixed things about it (mostly the budget was cut and the show runners were looking to end the show as apparently Cinemax lost interest).
In my top ten regardless of fav shows. -

I was a fan of Grantland and liked The Watch podcast with Andy Greenwald and Chris Ryan.
They mostly talked about GOT, but would talk about other tv shows, and Greenwald talked about Banshee being fun to watch.
Grantland was dropped by ESPN, but thanks to Bill Simmons, and HBO, Greenwald and Ryan are now doing After The Thrones on HBO, along with The Watch podcast on the Ringer network.
Greenwald had Tropper on The Watch prior to the finale. -

Late night channel surfing. The name looked appealing so I tried it and binged the first three episodes. Sold a to people on trying it. Naturally they loved it, except those who have a problem with violence.
May you receive all that Karma has to offer. -

Saw it popping up on watch lists. I was able to binge watch the first season then joined this board to it's conclusion from the beginning of the second.

I read a thread about new shows on another board, and someone mentioned
Banshee
. The third or fourth episode had just aired. I decided to check out the pilot and caught up within a week.

Haha! No, I think it was on the
The Walking Dead
board, back in the day when I still posted there. But I remember it being mentioned a few times by "Crazytown" inhabitants, in one of those "What are you watching now?" threads.

I've been a fan of Antony Starr ever since I watched Outrageous Fortunes, where he was amazing as the twins, Van and Jethro. Once I knew he was going to be in Banshee, there was never a chance that I was going to miss it.
so bollocks is bad, but dogs bollocks is good?
