I’ll give them a go one day maybe instead of trashing them. I prefer eating the cheese just on its own though, it’s very moreish and I can eat an entire block in one sitting.
Perhaps they’ll bring Turkey Unicorns back out to coincide with the launch of season two of Doctor Who.
I'm over the turkey unicorn thing now Bobby. It was just that not being able to have it that made me want them all the more. Sort of like a scotch pie from Greg's the Bakers. You dream about it for years and then when you finally get one again you go "Oh right!".
Some things just taste better in your imagination and other things, like the Cathedral City Cheddar Range exclusive to Iceland, actually taste as good as you want them to be

Yes I suppose it is a bit like when I finally got around to trying out the famous £1 burger man in Blackpool who sells burgers for just one pound!! I bought a burger off of him and I’ll be honest…it was a decent enough perfectly edible fairground type burger which was the best that I could have expected.

Yes I suppose it is a bit like when I finally got around to trying out the famous £1 burger man in Blackpool who sells burgers for just one pound!! I bought a burger off of him and I’ll be honest…it was a decent enough perfectly edible fairground type burger which was the best that I could have expected.
As long as you didn't build it up into a super duper thing in your imagination then you can't be let down by having high expectations
And good food is good, particularly when you're not expecting it Bobby

Exactly! Take the other week as an example, I ordered the stuffing stacker from KFC and my expectation was for it to be crap like all of these Maccers/KFC/Burger King efforts are, but I was surprised to find it was actually quite tasty.

The only thing with that was you didn't know the cranberry sauce was advertised as spicy and you enjoyed it all the same anyways.
It wasn't until I mentioned that when you noticed that it wasn't noticeably spicy and felt a little let down. he food however done exactly what you wanted it to do and so much more
For me that's what Christmas is all about. Aiming for about ground level but an uplifting wind carries your arrow just that little further

That’s how I approach all christmases. I go into them all not expecting much and the rest is just a bonus.

I know for an aficionado like you one would be a well thought out gift but I'm talking about regular people who get their news off of GBNews and the BBC

No I think they’re a very niche item. I’ve seen Beano and Dandy annuals in the shops this year so someone must still get these. A friend of mine gets me the Viz annual every year as tradition and we buy each other fun jokey old annuals that we see in charity or bric-a-brac shops such as Grange Hill or Bread.
