Neither do I. Not cow milk.
Anyways milkโs gotten bad press for a decade or so. Hormones, thereโs pus in pasteurized milk. Other somewhat ambiguous criticisms (hormones? Whyโs that bad?) that imply they have merit. Personally I think they do; milk retains micro and macro nutritional benefits (calcium, protein) hut macronutrient profile for skim has high sugar content and normal milk is high in fat which was demonized for decades.

Personally I think thereโs merit to the theory about lack of marketing. I have not seen a commercial specifically promoting milk to kids in years.

Those are macro and micro nutrients that milk has. Yes.
Milk also has copious amounts of cow pus due to the hormones they inject in these animals. So thereโs that.
Also I think it provokes an insulin response but idk for sure and donโt really care.
Everyone is lactose intolerant to some degree but itโs usually so negligible, Iโd you can ignore all the pus youโre guzzling down your throat, itโs a relatively healthy item to be consuming. Relatively being the key word; there isnโt that much protein or vitamin D. Good amount of calcium but can obtain that from cow milk substitutes. Or you can get raw cow milk and that wouldnโt have a material amount of pus.

โ 2 years ago(April 11, 2023 10:06 PM)You can obtain the calcium from substitutes but a lot of people arenโt doing that. I feel like most people donโt eat enough calcium rich foods to justify not drinking milk or at least substituting with supplements. There is a growing issue with osteoporosis among women especially minority women largely because of calcium deficiency.
