A few years ago, I'd have insulted the poster for asking me such an idiotic/troll question. Today, I know better: I know there's stuff I don't know nothing about and don't care to know more. I never encountered a "spirit who can take my shape" that I know of, but knowing what I lived thru, who am I to judge another's experience? All I know is: I can't and won't judge it as nutcases anymore.
Same here. But, afterall, we change as we grow older since we learn from our mistakes and get new knowledges. For instance: in my early teens, I usd to be homophobic. I realized it was simply pure ignorance because by hanging with homosexuals, I realized that they are people like everyone. I'd even say that some of them were more open-minded and it was more pleasant to talk with them than with most straight people. So yeah, this is how life works.

You are lucky. Though my experience with "them" iRL has been rather positive (they were opposite gender than my biological one), the ones I've been unfortunate to deal with after online were quite aggressive. Therefore, I don't hold such kindly views about them any longer. However that's online. I find that my personality online is often different that iRL. Someone is nice to me, I'm nice to them. Wait, I guess that's everybody. I mean online I might side against but IRL I really don't judge. It's just online they've really been assholes and bullies so I'm rather quick to dish out a heaping of that. Lingering resentment, I suppose.

Well, lol, that's a classic, and it's not exceptionally the case for homosexuals. This is just the way of Internet. I remember a study which analyzed this phenomenon. I won't go deeply into the details but if I had to summarize it quickly: the fact of being anonymous on Internet tend to creat ****tards, or more precisely, this "****tard attitude ". So people simply **** on everything, insult everyone and are overall very vile. So, no surprise here lol.
Yeah I myself had a few unpleasant encounters with homosexuals on the Internet. But they are not representative of the community and give them a really bad name lol.

Yeah, this is for me another grey zone. On one hand, I'm not a believer so I don't associate myself with any religion; on another hand, I can't prove that god doesn't exist, so I don't say "god doesn't exist" because I feel like it's a gratuitous provocation. I have no problem with people following a religion, as long as they don't use as an excuse to be bigoted assholes.
            ^^This.
Before I move on to your other quotes, I'm politically independent. I currently lean a lot different than I did 4 years ago. I can't really commit to a party because I have overlapping beliefs, a little of this one, a little of that. I know the one that is currently not aligned with my beliefs but I don't get in others faces if they won't get in mine. (Though sometimes it's fun to yank their chain!)
But you point out exactly my main issue with it: every religion has a different god and different values. So what happens with that is that religions tend to disagree with each others and this creates conflicts. I don't think that something that was written by people who built the religion should be used as a guideline and a reason to creat conflicts/wars.
You know what? I've come to be open to the alternative that, quite possibly, there are many alternate realities overlapping. If you're born in a Muslim country, you're meant to adhere to that. What I have a HUGE problem with is them going to Europe and building mosques etc. No. Keep it at home. You come here (wherever here is) you have to mold yourself to the customs, not the other way around. The same, I oppose Christians who have destroyed pagan civilizations, from the Andes to Polynesia and anywhere in between! Just because some Christians believe in MLM religions, like the door-knockers: unless you convert the masses you won't get enough brownie points to play the next level and "enter the kingdom of God" (barfs)

              (1) What I have a HUGE problem with is them going to Europe and building mosques etc. No. Keep it at home. (2) You come here (wherever here is) you have to mold yourself to the customs, not the other way around.
I see your point and respect your opinion, but for me this is two different things (I numbered them in the quote).
              (1) - I have no problem with them building mosques or whateven they need to practice their religion. As long as it stays behind the walls, I have no opposition.
              (2) - This, on another hand, I totally agree. If you moved from your country, you have to accept that things are gonna be different. Practice your religion in the cult place, but leave and accept the outside world as it is.
I remember the case of a religious group (can't recall which one exactly and I'm too lasy to do research lol) who managed to have this big Christmas tree banned from a public place in Belgium because it ws apparently offensive for their religion. THIS is completely ridiculous. It's an old tradition which was very important for belgian people. If you are not happy, just don't go see it, but being a crybaby about it is really stupid.

                There you go:

It's a classic case of "give an inch, they take a mile!" No. This cannot happen anymore.
                (2) - This, on another hand, I totally agree. If you moved from your country, you have to accept that things are gonna be different. Practice your religion in the cult place, but leave and accept the outside world as it is.
When you build a mosque – a complete eyesore – you are no longer "leaving the outside as you found it". I do not want to visit Vegas and find the Eiffel Tower, yet there it is! The same, I don't want to visit Paris and find a mosque.
When I visited Epcot Center, I didn't go to Morocco expecting to see bodegas and eat taquitos con carne, I wanted weird doors with the pointy shape and pillows on the floor, that's what I got. The same I didn't want to go to a Parisian bakery and buy shish-kabob, I wanted eclairs au chocolat, and that's what I got.
Equally, I don't want to see a blue eye blonde win Miss Bermuda or Miss Namibia, and vice versa when it comes to Miss Sweden. Visit. Good. Stay. Ok but keep everything in its place. Otherwise, we have a problem. If that offends someone, then they need to quit doing drugs.

If the following is true, it is exactly what you are talking about and it is heinous and scary imo.

Yes, what's happening in UK is frightening! And there's still idiots who deny there's sharia law in UK. It's all over there, their courts have full power. Wait until they take over normal courts: it's only a matter of time. How would THEY like it, if we went over there and took over THEIR "normal" courts and they had to abide by our laws, have burqas and hijabs etc banned and women in thongs down the streets?! What's good for the goose!
4 million muslims anywhere outside a muslim country is WAY TOO MANY! Some claim there's no turning back.
Did you know that Qatar owns some 75% of London?? (I forget the percentage). They're the ones generating the Europe havoc.

Maybe, there's a scientific explanation for anything.
                            ½ S/N Asian (40%+ Chinese) ½ Norwegian/Danish-Irish Swiss (Amish/PA) German French Dutch? French+Dutch Celtic-Irish English-Irish? 🇮🇹..?
