I like where we're going today with these threads about favorite movies from cool actors, so I figured to throw out a Paul Newman one.
Talk about a guy who was in a LOT of good movies! And a great guy to boot! Although I have met his daughter, and she wasn't very pleasant.
Anyways, my favorite Newman movies.
Slap Shot (always #1 for me)
Hud
The Hustler
Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid
The Sting
The Verdict
Cool Hand Luke
Absence Of Malice
Nobody's Fool
So there's a few, and I'm sure I've forgotten somewhat say you? -

I've never seen Someone Up There Likes Me, I've heard it's a real good one.
Newman did a lot of sports related films. When I think about it, I think he would have been better as Roy Hobbs than Redford was, although he was probably too old for the role. -

The Verdict is a GREAT Boston movie, right up there with Mystic River, which might be my favorite Boston movie. And of course Good Will Hunting.
I met his daughter Nell. I was working at a health food market in the late 90's and she came in to do some promotional stuff for Newman's Own foods. Like I said, she wasn't too nice, but she might have just been having a bad day or something. -

Me and the missus were talking about how it would be cool to erase some movies from your memory and watch them with the ending intact. Two that came up were The Verdict and The Sting.
Your future's all used up. -
