Zelda ain't kiddie. It's set in a fantasy land with swords and dragons. It's basically Game of Thrones.
Metroid is inspired by the Alien movies. They are non-linear sci-fi shooters about biological weapons of war. Not exactly Teletubbies.
Mario is about a fat Italian plumber who does mushrooms and then jumps on turtles and kicks them into lava. It's hardcore, ****ed-up ****. -
