No, I wasn't intending it for Steve Lake. I actually found it to be a moving film.
Another oldy-goldy, but have you seen Wonderland?
Val Kilmer as Johnny Wadd and it the movie relates around the Wondeland murders in LA in the early 80s. -

No he is most certainly not " normal " looking, his lower face makes his eyes look really small and creepy. And I say that as someone who has the same thing going on.So I can see why people may not like how he looks.
None of that was in mean spirits btw. -

Way dated, but have you seen The Counselor? I liked it a lot, but many people didn't.
The screenplay was written by C. McCarthy who wrote No Country For Old Men.

Another old one, but have you seen Black Mass with Johnny Depp as Whitey Bulger?
I found that to be quite intense. I've watches some docs about Bulger, and the movie seems to follow along reality quite nicely most of the time. -

I have seen that too, I enjoyed the Bostonian accents and seeing Todd from breaking bad in other things is always a blast
It made me sad though, because the guys name is
" James " whitey " Bulger "
and the name " James Bulger " may make a British person think of…some sad ****….for sure. -

I really enjoyed that one. Good acting all the way around, and I agree with you about the Boston accent.
On another site i was once saying how much I liked The Departed, and an ex-Bostonian straightened me out about most of that one being filmed in NYC.
