Penny is more interesting when she's with Sheldon. Leonard and Penny are too 'normal' and it's just not clear what they have in common. Sheldon and Amy are actually much more compatible.

This has to be one of the dumber questions I've seen on TBBT board. Why WOULDN'T he date her? Because of the weight? You make it sound as if Leonard is some George Clooney type.
That, plus, who are supposed to date women who are 50-60 lbs. overweight? In your small mind, are they relegated ONLY to OTHER heavy people?
