      ELVIS!!!! lol
Reason 1. I grew up listening to Elvis Movies (my mom is a big Fan) she even met him when she was really young.
Reason 2. He was the first White Entertainer with a Black Soul ( he had the Rhythm and blues about him)
To me he will always be "the King of Rock".
I am half from Italy., Venice and Half from Asturias, Spain ( so my first movies as a kid were watched in Italy and in Spain).
I grew up and I was born in the US, but it's the influence and the Culture yeah my whole family loves Elvis. 🙂
I was born in the 80's and NO MJ never had any affect on me, to all maybe not to me. I was never a fan.
Side note I love your Tom Cruise Pic (he is one of my fav Actors)
      Thanks

      yeah me my signature LOL

I never liked MJ simply because he was a pedophile. He's up there with Woody Allen, Roman Polanski, and Bill Cosby. Even to this day, it surprises me people like him simply because he's dead. As far back as I remember, when he was alive, everybody hated him and since he's been gone I say good riddance to that filthy pedophile to this very day.

I prefer Elvis, but Jackson had talents and abilities Elvis didn't. And vice versa. This also applies to what they achieved in two of the most remarkable careers in popular music. I like Elvis more, but why choose. Listen to Elvis is Back then Thriller right after.

Elvis Presley I am not where near a Michael Jackson fan,111c I don't like it when any of his songs are played on a classic oldies stations that's near me, and 2 of which does. If I am listening to a classic radio station and a Michael Jackson song comes on I would change the station. As a kid with the Jackson Five he was okay, but as an adult he changed the color of his skin, and sang with a weird voice. That makes me wonder is he supposed to be a male or female?

Elvis never said that. There was a great documentary in the UK recently presented by Joanna Lumley. She interviewed a (black) childhood friend from Tupelo, apparently Elvis would go to the cinema via the white entrance then climb over the boundary to be with his friends in the segregated black section.

Yup! Elvis appreciated black musicians and credited them on numerous occasions. Never heard him state any racist slur.

Elvis. I got into Elvis through Lilo and Stitch. I could never get into Michael Jackson when he was alive because of all his scandals.

                                Elvis, by far.
I like Michael. He was a fantastic dancer and song writer. He wrote songs to fit his voice.
Elvis could sing any genre. His voice was amazing. He was so good looking and had an amazing style.
Michael used a lot of dancers when he was in concert.
Elvis just walked out there and mezmoried the crowd.
Michael as been barely mentioned on magazines since his death.
Elvis was on the rack for a couple years.
People still think Elvis might be alive (silly). But they can't handle him being dead.
No one thinks Michael is faking it. They accepted it and moved along.
Elvis will be missed for the next 500 years.
Michael is already losing his appeal. It's sad. But true.

                                  I vote Elvisno doubt.
That said I really like MJ as well.
He is my 2nd favorite singer of all time.
But I dont like jackson5 and only a very few of the The Jacksons songs.
Thriller,Bad,Dangerous and History are really great.the rest is not something I play often.
Gosh only 4 albumsElvis on the other hand + all the outtakes we have gotten over the years 🙂

I'd have to go with MJ (
                                        after
he went solo). Elvis did not belong to my generation of rock/contemp. With Elvis, I felt nothing listening to his songs, and the movies were awful. I got dragged to a few by my older sister. Boring! I didn't care for the Beatles either.
I'm a Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Led Zeppelin, Doors, Who, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull kind of girl.

Even though I really like Elvis, my favorite music is more so Iron Maiden, Metallica, Ozzy, Dio, Black Sabbath, The Who, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Steve Miller, Alice Cooper, Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, and KISS.
Metallica, Iron Maiden, and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic fan
