Forget it Fluffy, you found someone even more inflexible than you.

Very flexible, no doubt about that! I'll leave you a link to better explain some point of discordance of our previous discussions since you are so flexible:

Oh, by the way, the Joker was supposed to have an important role in the development of Harley's personality during the present story (not only in the flashbacks) according to David Ayer:
Its about [Harley] breaking free of The Joker and becoming this fully actualized, independent person, Ayer explained. That really is a metaphor for everyones journey here.
Unfortunately, the studio changed the plot and cut many scenes. Look, what a guy who went to see a test screening said:

Language isn't tricky. You seem to be the only one having trouble grasping it just because it's used to prove you wrong repeatedly.
Thanks to Batmeh v Supermeh Yawn of Justice, the "S" now stands for Sidekick -

Oh I remember this guy was going on about needs not being real it was even in his signature so I told him to hold is breath and to discover that needs are real, after some BS rant in which he even claimed we don't need oxygen it would seem he changed his signature lol . Well here is a bit of advice if you wish that mankind died out and you are unhappy with your life then either do something to end it or even better do something that will change it for the better and which will make you happy.
As much as I personally can be disappointed with how some elements of humanity has turned out no I don't wish we had died out, we have achieved magnificent things as a species things that are truly wonderful.
To make a great film you need three things - the script, the script and the script -Alfred Hitchcock -

To a signature you clearly haven't clicked on.

I am. I'm voicing my disgust for it. Hopefully someone will be a little wiser for it.

Like what? Have we given other animals our intelligence? Have we improved the eco-systems of the planet we're on? Have we done anything except improve our own living standards and multiplied?
Crap, I sound like Agent Smith!

Look, I'm worried about you! I think you are disillusioned with this world. Believe that you are not the only one. I think that Humanity has some learning difficulties caused by EGO and PRIDE.
I think that our job here is not to change the others nor the world, but ourselves. By doing this we are already contributing to a better world!
I know it's easy to talk and hard to do. It is difficult to improve when we are lying in the mesh of the world. I conclude that the best option is to have faith and believe in ourselves and in others. When we change the way we see the world, something that seems magical happens, the world around us changes as well. -

I think that our job here
We have no "job" here. We do what we and the universe doesn't
care
what.
is not to change the others nor the world, but ourselves. By doing this we are already contributing to a better world!
No, the universe would be no better or worse if organic life died out yesterday or never existed in the first place.
When we change the way we see the world, something that seems magical happens, the world around us changes as well.
No, it does not. We cannot avoid consequences, no matter how we change our perception.

Id consider myself a realist, alright? But in philosophical terms Im whats called a pessimist. I think human consciousness is a tragic misstep in evolution. We became too self-aware. Nature created an aspect of nature separate from itself. We are creatures that should not exist by natural law. We are things that labor under the illusion of having a self, that accretion of sensory experience and feelings, programmed with total assurance that we are each somebody, when in fact everbodys nobody. I think the honorable thing for our species to do is to deny our programming. Stop reproducing. Walk hand in hand into extinction. One last midnight, brothers and sisters opting out of a raw deal.

We are creatures that should not exist by natural law.
"Should" and "law" are both myths. What exists exists. If something has a problem with it that's
their
problem.
I think the honorable thing for our species to do is to deny our programming.
I would like to ask who said that what honor has to do with it.

We are creatures that should not exist by natural law.
Putting aside the word choices Matt, this statement simply means that human behavior does not conform to the prevailing patterns of other biological life on planet Earth.
What exists exists. If something has a problem with it that's their problem.
And so it is, you aren't really saying anything new or relevant here. Just because it's 'his problem' doesn't mean he is or is not allowed to articulate it.
Myth or not, our self awareness grants constructs like should and law meaning and validity.
I would like to ask who said that what honor has to do with it.
The honorability the author grants to our mutual agreement to collectively self terminate is a personal judgment. Much like an opinion, it is valid with or without a defense.

I understood that but I meant that that does not mean we're somehow cosmically disqualified for existence.

I meant "natural law", not the author.

Fictions can have meaning. Validity is an issue of relevance.

I can't say I grasp that but you might tell my view of things is kind of straightforward? Or linear?
