Honestly, both DD seasons are better than anything any DC character has ever delivered and that includes film. These two DD seasons are like 12 hour movies and BETTER than Nolan's Batman trilogy which is DC's only real contender. Yes, that includes TDK.
i guess it is if you prefer badly written and very tv-looking stuff over a real movie. -

Except the quality of writing and cinematography in Daredevil is leagues ahead of anything seen in Nolan's Dark Knight movies. None of the characters in his movies, and I mean none of them, come off like real people at any point in time. The Daredevil characters do. That's why I care for them a hell of a lot more. The moment I realized that every line of dialogue coming out of Rhas Al Ghul's mouth was theatrical and over dramatized to the extreme, the illusion of a real person was broken. I knew I was looking at a mouth piece for the film's themes, and I ceased to care.
There's a phrase for that. It's called bad writing, and Nolan's overpraised mediocrities have a ton of it.

Face facts, Daredevil is next level stuff. Honestly, both DD seasons are better than anything any DC character has ever delivered and that includes film. These two DD seasons are like 12 hour movies and BETTER than Nolan's Batman trilogy which is DC's only real contender. Yes, that includes TDK.
DD is simply more complex and offers so much more depth. That's the nature of the source material and I guess that is an unfair advantage.
DD and Marvel's source material is simply richer and more complex so why wouldn't a true adaptation be superior to anything the one dimensional DC source material can manufacture?

Daredevil is the best live action superhero TV show I've ever seen, and it's not even close. I won't include movies because there have been a few very good ones, but yeah it's definitely better than most. I won't say it's the best comic book TV series ever because The Walking Dead is pretty good.
