In this related LRM article, the cinematic universes ( and respective studios which handle the filmmaking) are compared and it favors the treatment by Fox the best.

Fox doesn't have a Cinematic Universe. It has a disjointed, jumbled mess of loosely connected X-Men films and Deadpool. The author of that article has no idea what they're talking about.

It's more like a Fox vs Disney thing since X-Men is Marvel. Most X-Men fans don't want X-Men to be part of the Disney MCU universe.

Disney doesn't make Marvel movies. Why is it so hard for you to understand?

Disney has all their fingerprints over the MCU much like the new Star Wars films with goofy jokes, bumbling idiot support casts, diluted bland villains and over-reliance on CGI.

After the disappointment of the force awakens, rogue one always had me worried.

I was expecting Rogue One to be beep especially after the reshoots and stuff, but it's definitely one of the greatest Star Wars films.

Yeah the problem with the MCU is that they're taking it way too far. They're more comedy flicks rather than superhero movies.

I'm still trying to figure out how Logan is any different in tone than The Wolverine
And we've seen the same theme and plot points in other X-Men/Wolverine movies.
This isn't Fox v. Marvel, this is X-Men fans tired of Fox beep everything up.

Fans aren't studios. There's no need for us to compete.
As a comic book fan I don't know why I wouldn't want every superhero film to be great.
