this ep was 100% fantastic! i loved everything about it. so much happens to move the plot along. my favorite new development is Chloe & Maze (and Trixie) becoming roommates! the girl's night out part with the subsequent fight/brawl was amazing as well! no offense to Tricia Helfer (who i do adore) but i'm glad the ep didn't spend too much time with "Mum".
the development that God may harm/take back the Chloe deal made by him & Lucifer is great and ominous! -

I agree,I think this is the best episode this season. Loved every single part of it and damn what and ending and the girls night out. Cannot wait until next week.

Chloe moved in with her mom when she separated from Dan a long time ago. And no, older beach houses in Southern California are not typically large, unless you're mega rich. You can see by the funky interior and the pullout sofa that this is not one of the newer rich and famous type abodes, even though the cheapest cottage you can get in that location right now, if it's in Malibu, is $2 million bucks. There are 2 bedroom, 1300 sq ft places for as much as $7 million there. Depends on how much land there is. It's all in the location, location, location. Even if her place is closer to Santa Monica, it's still going to be worth a small fortune. But it looks like Malibu to me.
Chloe clearly doesn't want to live with her mom. She doesn't trust her with Trixie for one thing (remember the audition situation?), and she doesn't like feeling like she has to be the parent to her mother. I totally understand why, now that she's decided to divorce Dan, she'd want to get on with her own adult life.
Plus, if they were being realistic, Chloe driving from the beach to work every day is crazy. That's like a two-hour drive in traffic. And Lucifer showing up there, all the way from Hollywood, not at all realistic, not that we're going for that, but it just makes more sense if Chloe lives closer to all the action.
