Exactly, everything about Ilsa fits the story, because everything that happens is pertinent to her character and her backstory.
It's a different approach than the previous season, where Chance's encounter with many of the girls of the previous season had a conflict that was resolved in an entire episode.
But then again, most of those characters were somewhat humble people(except the princess on episode 11),however, a person such as Ilsa, who was married to a millionaire and it's hinted early on that something just wasn't right.
So whatever issues they would have wouldn't be resolved in the space of just one episode, there had to be someone bigger pulling the strings.
Again, Ilsa makes perfect sense, Ames, on the other hand, does not.

I think Ilsa is fine in the series, unlike Ames, who should be destroyed.
I was just watching the first TORCHWOOD episode again on BBCA and had forgotten that Indira had a two episode part in that.

She has ruined the show. It's only watchable now if I fast forward through any scene when she's on screen. I hate her character's whiny stupidity and fake Brit accent. Can't figure out why the real cast hasn't taken her money and disposed of her annoying body. Too bad, this was once a good show. I will never, ever watch anything else with Indira Varma in it. Time to spin off the Guerrero Show if they can't kill Ilsa off.

Couldn't agree more. The producers took an excellent show and ruined it (intentionally?) with the worlds most pointless and irritating character.

OK, I know this is a fairly old thread but FAKE ACCENT?? Indira Varma is British, from Bath and RADA trained. That IS her accent.

Fake british accent?? Perhaps u have been too doled up with the ridiculous american version of what they think the british accent sounds like. Indira Verma is actually British and I live in London. I have heard many times how people from Middle England speak. She has got it spot on. Somerset all the way.

I'm guessing most of the complaints are from people so stricken with ADHD or ADD that they can't watch something if there isn't a "BANG!" or a "BOOM!" every 2 seconds?
Or maybe they just dont like a character wedged into a show that serves no purpose other then to cause the guys problems This isn't Greys Anatomy. Extra drama is not needed. So I'll take your "ADD" and raise you "uselss dramatics". Cliche ones at that. So keep your comments that talk down to people like they cant understand drama. And assume maybe they just dont want it in a popcorn action show.
Because people with taste, patience and a lack of ADHD or ADD, really "love" the trite, hackneyed drama and romantic "tension" we see in virtually every show.
                Thank you!
want nothing but trite melodrama and whose worthless time should be focused on soap operas and romantic comedies
Exactly. Its just there because somewhere in the last 60 years of TV its become the normal train of thought that it has to be there. It does not

Once in a blue moon we get a good show meant for men and they take that out as well. Aren't there enough chick flick nonsense pervading filth on television already? why can't you rounders keep the one masculine show out there going? Enough with all the female leads destroying the action genre. Leave the testosterone to the vessel it belongs to, you fecal m@ggots. Whats with all the rubbish female oriented turds filling television..Revenge is a case in example. If we wanted Pamela Anderson as Rambo, we would get a curative lobotomy anyway. This feminazi propaganda on television has to end. Someone has to paint a bulls-eye on these pu$$y whipped television creators and turn them into less-than-human targets.

the two females on this show, are from the UK so the accent might have one of the problems. and what 'Ginu tg-1' said is spot on?
