            haha True enough the only famous Thora here in the UK is an ancient woman known for Last of The Summer Wine and selling people funeral policies.
            She looks like a mummified raisin.

                      how is it racist, to name someone of germanic/scandinavian heritage, after a norse deity? its part of the history/culture for whoever's grown up with it. its like saying that catholics aren't allowed to call their daughters maria ::) completely ridiculous claim

                                        I like it. I once knew a little boy named Thor, and I always think of him when I hear her name. Would never name my own child that, but it's kind of cool and different.
