I have never seen any of her films, but I have heard complimentary things about her acting. I'm registered under beliefnet.com and came across an interesting article on their website. I also did not know she had four different ethnic cultures in her background. She is very pretty and ages well. The article is really nice and informative. http://www.beliefnet.com/Entertainment/Celebrities/2008/10/Pam-Grier-Interview.aspx

Doesn't matter to me the least bit what her racial ancestry might be, she has always been a woman of stunning beauty. Although I do think the most beautiful women tend to be of mixed heritage.
I'm pretty damn sick of all the labels too. Seriously. Native American is a joke. Anyone born on American soil is a Native American. And what is the difference between a "colored person" and a "person of color"? How can one of those be an insult and the other an apt description? And when did "black" become verboten? I almost never hear it anymore, yet my friends that fit the category don't have a problem with it.
Really it speaks to this whole discussion, because unless the cops are putting out a description of a fleeing felon (black male, 6'2" skinny or white female 5'1" 300lbs with a cleft lip), I really don't see the purpose of continuing to divide ourselves in niche categories.
And again, Pam is one fine fine honeypot.Go die.>>>

you know what I'm getting sick and tire ofit's the 'she's not too black' so I like her or 'well, she's only HALF black' so I like her.
Black is black.
let's get real - some white males are afraid to admit openly that they are attracted to women of color. It's just taboo to admit it. Therefore, in order to be comfortablethey have to 'explain away' their attraction.
In other words, she's white but only HALF black or she's white but HALF hispanic or asian.
aren't we all human? what difference does it make? If you're attracted to someone, then that's all that matters. Stop trying to explain or justify your attraction. You really don't need to do it. Just say 'I date everyone that I'm attracted to and let the chips fall'.
