Haim. Not his so-called "friend," Corey Feldman:

I can certainly see your points, and I agree with much of what you say, actually. I just get exasperated by the whole "poor victimized Corey Haim, drugged and passed around Hollywood. So bad, so sad." spiel.
Haim as a teenager wanted to party and he wanted to screw, and he did both quite indiscriminately, while many other child actors refrained from going down that path to the extent that Haim did. This stuff was not just revealed years later - everyone knew about it back in the 80s: that Corey Haim was heavy into drugs/partying and was a wild child. When I was 11-12 yrs old in the late 80s, I used to read about his problems in 16 Magazine, Bop, Tean BeatHe spoke openly in interviews about how he'd gone down the wrong path into drugs and partying and was trying to get his act together because no one would hire him anymore. Those were his decisions to partake and to enter into sexual relationships with people, and he paid the price for that emotionally, physically, career-wise, etc. He chose to do those things, but years later, he and Feldman (Feldman especially) would start blaming everyone but themselves for acting so wild and reckless.
But again, I understand your points. And I do think it was unfortunate that Haim chose to have a sexual relationship with an older male on the set of Lucas, it would have been physically very painful and emotionally confusing for a young teen. -

Yes, Haim wanted to party, screw, etc., Which teen doesn't? Teenagers just
love
living on the wild side. And I can only imagine being a Hollywood celebrity, with all its perks (the fame; the money; etc) it was even
more so
. I also followed Haim's story in the teen magazines (for obvious reason), as well as some of the other teen heartthrobs, especially Kirk Cameron (my huge heartthrob, back in the day).
It should be noted that so many teen stars who cannot make the change into adult celebrity often do end up screwed up. For the longest time, it was thought that it was the very fact that they became "has-beens," they became emotionally screwed. But, now it looks like their post Hollywood-meltdowns are the result of the price they all paid to even become big names in the industry, at such a young age, may account for they became later in life: because of the sexual abuse they endured, & then left in in the dirt by the very people who messed around with them when they were kids.

I think that's the problem. Haim at the age that he was shouldn't even be "choosing" to engage in sexual relationships with adults. He is neither physically, mentally or emotionally developed enough to be making such judgments at that point. The whole issue revolves around consent, loose morality, abuse of power, being taken advantage of, etc, in a highly competitive industry where large amounts of people are all vying for a tiny amount of available positions.

Yes, I have seen Dominic Brascia vehemently deny the accusations online, however, the person who finally came out & publicly named him
IS AN ACTUAL FRIEND OF COREY HAIM'S, & OF HIS MOTHER JUDY.
This person has had it up to
HERE,
with Feldman constantly bringing up Haim's molestation in order to keep himself relevant.

to make matters even more confusing, I'm sure Brascia is one of the sources who's outing the A-luster to radar online
That's one of the main reasons Greg Harrison finally decided to out him. When he found an old gossip website article discussing Haim's abuse, & Brascia the key source, he completely blew a cork.
