i'm gainfully unemployed.
started a career in my teens and retired at around 30.
i don't keep a day job, but i serve on several boards of directors and advisory committees.

not knowing your situation, i'd say a good goal to have is to become as independent as possible from a system that forces you to work with assholes and to deal with assholes.
they teach you the opposite in the school and in the media. and the more of that you consume, the further behind you'll be.
luckily, i am a bit of a rebel.
