He is very limited in acting ability. He had a very particular schtick that was entertaining but got old quickly.

he wasn't great actor. he didnt' have enough range. the thing is he was so great in psycho. if you have only seen him in comedic roles you have to watch him in the remake of psycho, he is perfect and amazing.
in hacksaw ridge he played a serious character but there is a part where he says something that is supposed to be serious and since i know him in comedy roles there's a look he gives and a way he says something that i couldnt' take it seriously bc he's not a great actor.

Looks like he's still working as both an actor and producer.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.

It ended when he started making political statements about his admiration for trump and the Republican Party. He thought we needed to know what a great republican he was. Big mistake. I hate him now and will never watch something with him in it

the worst thing ever is how in sports now everything is political. it didnt' used to be that way in the '80s or '90s. now everytime someone talks about heir sport they have to say something political this is so wrong and annoying. you're playing a sport just shut up and dribble.
they'll say i'm wrong to say thigs but they're wrong it's a sport it has nothing to do with politics, the same is true about acting and hollywood.
another thing about this world nowadays that sucks.

Vaughn was never considered a dashing leading man and a heart throb. The only thing about his looks which made him successful is that he could play an average joe. He was the "Everyman".

well then how do you explain the fact that he hasn't been a star in 10 years and that also is when he started looking old, 10 years ago? i think it's not mere coincidence that the time he lost his career is also the time he lost his looks. he's looked old for the last 10 years and hasn't been a star since he was in the watch and that was about 10 years ago.

it's either that or it is a coincidence but either way he's not a great actor because he would still be a star if he was.

Of course an actor in his 30's gets more roles than an actor in his 60's. But Vaughn was never a glamour puss. He can still play joe six pack.
Vaughn reminds me of Bruce Willis in the looks department. Blah. Every actor doesn't have to look like Brad Pitt to be successful.

vaughn isn't in his 60s he's only in his 50s now so by just 40 he lost his career. i'm just saying if you are a great actor you can overcome becoming 40 or older and still be a star like bruce willis. his limited acting abilities and talents were proven by him not having a career past 40.
you have to be versatile to continue to be a movie star past 40. only the best actors can do this.

Bruce Willis scored because he got into the action film genre. You don't even need to act for that. It's all explosions and effects.
Vince Vaughn would be great in a movie about the Captain of a bowling team. Like I said, he plays average guys.
Willis made a good career move because he's not a great actor or a pretty boy either. So he appealed to a male audience that wants to see guns and bravado.
Not every actor is gonna be a super star.
